Framingham is now 2-0 on the season while Post 201 drops its first season opener since 2008...   FULL RECAP | BOX SCORE Thursday, June 9, 2011 Storms Delay East Side's 2011 Season Opener Worcester, MA --- Those waiting for opening day of the 2011 East Side Post 201 American Legion Baseball season will have to wait another 24 hours.  A line of strong to severe thunderstorms moving across Western Massachusetts this afternoon has forced the postponement of Thursdays game at Sturbridge.  An official make-up date has not yet been determined.  The Raiders will now open the 2011 campaign on Friday hosting Framingham at 5: 15pm.  The game will be played at Worcester Academy’s Gaskill Field.    Thursday, May 19th, 2011 2011 Schedule Released Worcester, MA --- East Side American Legion Post 201 announced its 2011 baseball schedule today.  The Raiders will play a 22-game slate again this season beginning on Thursday, June 8th with a 5:30pm road game at Sturbridge.  In addition to a pair of contests against traditional city rivals Grafton Hill and Main South, the 2011 schedule includes home-and-home series versus fellow State Sectional participants Framingham and Shrewsbury as well as Auburn and Sturbridge.  The home opener is scheduled for Friday, June 9th at 7pm versus Framingham.   Full Schedule
